Greg Swenson, CFA

Greg joined Leuthold Weeden Capital Management in July of 2006. Greg is a Senior Analust for The Leuthold Group,LLC, and is a Co-Portfolio Manager for the Grizzly Short Fund and Leuthold Hedged Equity Fund. He is a key member of the team involved with the development of a product focused on analyzing investment opportunities at the global level.

Prior to this, Greg was a Consultant and Account Executive at FactSet Research Systems based in Chicago. In that position, he oversaw a large base of investment firm/hedge fund clients, where he aided Analysts and Portfolio Managers in expanding the depth of their securities and portfolio analysis capabilities. While at FactSet, Greg worked extensively with the Leuthold research team in the initial development of their global marketplace data analysis.
Greg graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, and he is a CFA charter holder.
